15 minutes Lemon Chicken recipe: easy and quick

The lemon chicken is one of the easiest yet rewarding recipe ever, perfect for a quick lunch but also for an informal dinner party. Kids love the lemon chicken and to be honest adults love it as well.

It’s certainly not a gourmet recipe but the use of only 3 ingredients and the fact it can be made in less than 20 minutes is a perk to be considered, especially if we use a good chicken breast which can really make the difference.

Lemon chicken: ingredients for 4 people

1 chicken breast (about 600 grams)
Flour
1 large lemon
salt
Olive oil

Lemon chicken: recipe

  1. Cut the chicken breast to dabs after rinsing it under the water and depriving it of any fat.
  2. Pour the flour into a bowl and salt it, then dip the chicken into the flour by mixing it with your hands or with a spoon.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large and non-stick frying pan, then cook the chicken to medium heat until almost complete cooking.
  4. About 3-4 minutes before the end of the cooking, pour all the lemon juice over the chicken and mix well. Leave to cook until golden. Remove from the pan when the chicken begins to darken and become crunchy. Serve hot.
