Awesome Avocado Toast Ideas and Recipes for Any Lifestyle
Since when I’m living in Ireland, I’ve discovered the joy of an open sandwich which can easily be made in a few minutes and with a few ingredients. One of my favorite is without any doubt the avocado toast, an healthy and simple recipe you can make at home in less than 10 minutes.
There are different ways for making an avocado toast and I usually make mine slicing the avocado instead of mashing it and tossing it with Mediterranean ingredients such as tomatoes and red onion. If you add a little bit of fresh basil or mint your senses will blow and you’ll feel in heaven.
You don’t need time in the kitchen. Often it’s just a matter of fantasy and good ingredients. The recipe for the avocado toast is a perfect example of this and I’m perfectly conscious all you need is a shopping list and that’s it!
What you need to make your perfect avocado toast
Avocado (not ripe because I prefer to slice it instead of mash)
Basil or mint
How to make the perfect avocado toast
1. Cut the avocado in half, and remove the core and cut into slices. Season with sea salt and black pepper.
2. Cut onions and tomatoes. Toast the bread.
3. When the toast is done top it with sliced avocado, onions and tomatoes. Add fresh basil or mint, season with salt, oil and pepper and serve.
Preparation time: about 10 minutes

Since the recipe is easy and really customizable, you can change ingredients or add more, you can also mash the avocado, add salmon, poach eggs and anything you like the most. Just try, make your creative mind help you in this and you will be certainly happy.
